Resumen:
The objective of this panel presentation is twofold: we first describe the conceptual issues, methodologies and computational tools developed to handle risk and uncertainty in transmission expansion planning for hydro-based countries. In sequence, we describe the application of those issues in the structure and regulation of transmission expansion-related activities in Brazil.
